Black V Protect Ceramic Coating & Auto Detailing ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you submit our quote form or book online, we collect: your name, phone, email, vehicle details, and service preference. Payment card details are entered directly with our PCI-compliant payment processor, Stripe, and are never stored on this site.
How we use it
We use your contact info to respond to your quote request, schedule your appointment, and follow up on completed work (warranty, satisfaction). We never sell your data. We only share your information with the service providers that help us run the business: our payment and booking processors (to deliver your service) and, in securely hashed form, our advertising platform (to measure ad effectiveness — see "Advertising measurement" below).
SMS / Text Messaging
If you opt in to SMS, we send transactional messages about your appointment (booking confirmation and when your vehicle is ready). Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. SMS consent is not a condition of purchase. Your mobile information — your phone number and SMS consent — is never sold, and is never shared for anyone to market to you. (We may share a securely hashed, irreversible version of your phone or email with our advertising platform solely to measure whether our own ads led to your booking — see "Advertising measurement.")
Cookies
This site uses minimal cookies (Google Maps embed, font CDN). We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this site. (We do measure the effectiveness of our own ads server-side, in hashed form — see "Advertising measurement.")
Advertising measurement
To understand which of our ads actually bring us customers, we may share a securely hashed (one-way encrypted, irreversible) version of your email address or phone number with our advertising platform (currently Google). It is used only to confirm whether one of our own ads led to your booking. It is never sold, never used by us or the platform to send you marketing, and the platform cannot recover your original email or phone number from the hashed value. If you'd prefer we not include your booking in advertising measurement, email us at [email protected] and we'll exclude you.
